Classroom Dozen Duck Hatching Eggs Set

$45.00

Unless I have known you, School ID badge is required for this set at pick up! Please do not purchase if you are not a public school teacher.

We are regularly contacted by teachers who are looking for less expensive eggs to teach incubation in the classroom. The classroom set is an assortment of various breeds placed in a 12 egg cell carton. There are shipping options for you to select if you want more eggs. Please contact us for further quotes if needed. You don’t have to be a teacher or educator to get these inexpensive eggs either! Your purchase will be a mix of pure chicken eggs or mixed breeds, including some hybrids we may be working on
Your order will contain 12 (mostly white) Ancona eggs. In this set, we are unable to take request for blue or green eggs. If you want Ancona color eggs, we offer them in the premium set we sell for $84.

The eggs will be freshly laid and collected and if we have extras available we will add based on availability. We are NPIP and AI participants through the Florida Department of Agriculture. We get tested twice a year. NPIP slip will be included in the shipment and emailed as well.

We ship our eggs in double box. Unless notified prior, we do not label our boxes with “Fragile” or “Hatching eggs.” If you want the post office to call for pick up, we also need to be notified prior to shipment.

We ship weekly, Monday-Wednesday, on the order which payment is received. We kindly ask you to review our farm policies before purchasing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Price is per dozen and it does not include shipping. FREE LOCAL PICK UP by appointment. Please read our policy on hatching eggs before placing your order. Thank you:-)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • First and foremost, there are no refunds, no returns, and no replacements on any hatching egg orders, FOR ANY REASON, whatsoever.

  • You may have 0% -100% hatch rate from the eggs you receive from me.

  • In addition to the above, you understand that, in general, shipped eggs may not develop due to factors outside my control. You should candle the eggs upon arrival to inspect the air sac cells. It is recommended that shipped eggs rest for 12 hours to allow shook up air cells a chance to settle and possibly reattach. If air cells become damaged, embryo development is doomed.

  • You understand that eggs may not develop due to factors outside my control. You should candle the eggs upon arrival to inspect the air sac cells. It is recommended that shipped eggs rest for 12 hours to allow shook up air cells a chance to settle and possibly reattach.

  • Please take the time to educate yourself about fertile chicken eggs. Just because the embryo fails to develop, it does not mean the egg was not fertile. Eggs must be kept under the right condition in order to fertilize (It is always a good idea to check your incubator for cold spots periodically).

  • The only way to check for fertility is to crack one of the eggs to locate the bullseye (the blastocyst). That is the only way! Please do your research before making false claims that cannot be proven.

  • You should ALWAYS elect to pick up your eggs from the post office versus having them shipped to your door. Clients who follow this best practice are far more successful than those who have their package sent straight home.

  • If you can't pick up your eggs from the post office, consider sourcing them locally.

  • If you want your package held for pick up, please leave your phone number on the "note to seller" during checkout and it will be done for you. If you forget, you can always send me a message via ebay. I will no longer reach out to anyone for the phone number. If you have not asked me to hold for pick up, your package will be sent straight to your address; however, per the Department of Agriculture all shipments of hatching eggs and live animals must be accompanied by the buyer's phone number. We are NPIP and follow NPIP guidelines. We file and submit a VS 9-3 form for all of our shipped orders, even if within the State of Florida.

  • I am wife, mom, teacher, and farmer. I do not have time to entertain any drama over eggs that don't develop or don't hatch. I am not a keyboard warrior.

  •  When you purchase eggs through the mail you understand there are risks involved and when you complete your purchase, you have accepted these terms and conditions.

  • Handling time can be anywhere between 3 - 10 business days. Sometimes, it can take longer, depending on the number of orders we receive. I strive to ship every order as soon as possible, but keep in mind we work with animals. Animals are unpredictable. We work with small flocks. Eggs are shipped fresh. Your oldest egg won't be older than 72 hours prior to shipping.

  • Your eggs will arrive safely and unbroken; free of any deformities. Only the best eggs are chosen for your incubator. Each egg is carefully inspected for cracks and detached air cells prior to packaging. Every package sent is the best it can possibly be. The eggs I sent to you are packaged with love and care.

  • If you receive broken eggs (from usps mishandling), please file a claim with usps. Your package is insured for $100. Pictures are a MUST.

  • Please understand that I do not return messages about hatch rate. There is nothing I can or will do to remediate the issue. I can't refund you for service that has been rendered. I won’t reship, unless paid for a full set, or authorize a return.

  • I can't guarantee hatch rate outside my farm for numerous factors: the environment, the machine, the practice, detached air sacs during transit, just to name a few. Just place me on your "no buy again list" and move on.

  • Please note we cannot predict when our hens want to take a break. Just like us, they have good days and bad days as well. If I cannot fill your order due to broodiness, molt, heat, or any other factor that affects laying, I will contact you and cancel your order, issuing a full refund.

  • If you can’t accept these terms and conditions please find another breeder.
