Our Hatching Egg Order Policy
All hatching eggs are pre-orders. Minimum order of 6 eggs. When ordering hatching eggs, please factor in the number of eggs that may not develop nor hatch; please be also mindful of the ratio of males vs. females you might get. Due to factors beyond our control (hatching techniques, humidity, weather, altitude changes, conveyor belts, lifts, carrier handling, weather changes, humidity changes, etc…) we cannot be held responsible for eggs that don't develop or poor hatch rates. There are no refunds nor replacement for eggs that don't hatch. Please note that just because an egg does not develop, it does not mean it is infertile. There is only one way to know if an egg is fertile and unfortunately, that means breaking the egg open to look for the white spot, which is the germinal disk. (looks like a donut!!) You will see a yellow hole in the center and there would indicate that the egg is fertile. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE HATCH RATES OUTSIDE OUR FARM. Avoid counting your chicks before they hatch!! We do not offer eggs from any breed that we have not successfully hatched ourselves. We scrutinize the eggs we sell. We only sell and send the freshest eggs collected within a max of 72 hour collection, kept under appropriate temperature and turned frequently throughout the day. The eggs we pack for you will be free of any deformities and defects.
Cancellation/Return Policy
If life happens and you decide to cancel an order that has not yet been filled, you will be given store credit for future purchase. Please note we do not process refunds, unless we are unable to fulfill your order due to circumstances outside our control.. If you need to cancel your order, please email us with your order number and cancellation reason. In the event we are unable to fill an order, we reserve the right to cancel it, and a full refund will be issued.
Our Seramas
Seramas are by far one of the most attracting and fun chickens on the earth. The chicks are as TINY as a quail chick and so adorable!! They are the smallest recognized chicken breed on the planet. All of our breeders are mostly unrelated and come from quality breeding stock, directly from the original importer and another SCNA member who I trust. Our flock comes in all sorts of beautiful colors and in smooth and silkie feather type.
Most of our breeders display an upright chest out posture, vertical wings pointing straight down usually touching the floor, short little legs and tall vertical tails giving them a look like no other chicken. Our Serama adult breeders weight between 12 - 16 ounces. We do not breed for micro because these are known as having fertility and other health challenges when they reach adulthood. Below is a chart I found from a popular breeder I purchased Seramas from. I have found this chart to be valuable when selecting Seramas for our breeding program. Please note Seramas DO NOT breed true in size and color!! So, just like with my Swedish Flower hens, every hatch is a pleasant surprise. The possibilities are endless!! Our current 2024 Flock consist of 13 pairs. Four of them were purchased at the age of 5 months from the original importer; Two pairs and a trio from another SCNA member, whom I trust, and the rest are their off springs we grown and kept due to unique feather patterns and beauty. We organize them in pairs. Each has a name and live in a separate pen for selective breeding. We feed them organic and Non GMO all flock (Nature Wise - Red bag), so laying is awesome. Our hens are fantastic layers of tiny cream colored eggs all year long. They start laying as soon as 4-5 months old and LOVE to be broody and hatch and raise their own chicks for you, if allowed to do so. It should also be noted that Serama roosters rarely seem to fight. Many times you can keep a bunch of males in the same pen without any issues (we have done it before). Serama chicks tend to hatch 1 or 2 days sooner than a normal chicken.
Please note Serama chicks can be a little more challenging to hatch than the normal chicken. The original importer of Serama, Jerry Schexnayder, reports average hatch of 45-60% on fertile, non-shipped eggs. Shipped eggs are even lower, so the more, the better are the chances.
We have been successful with 99.5 temperature and humidity kept at 37-40 F for the first 17 days. Then we increase it 55-60 on the last few days. We have also been successful with steady humidity of 50F. Here at the farm, we currently have 90% development rate with a hatch rate of 83 – 87% in most hatches. Lastly, Serama chickens do not require much space at all. Same small coop requirements to small bantam chickens or bantams. Many Serama breeders use a mini chicken coop or rabbit hutch like the ones we sell which works perfect for them. They do not create hardly any mess in their little coop and hardly eat any chicken feed at all. They are extremely tame and friendly and will likely be your new favorite backyard chickens in your flock!**Note: We recommend you use very small shallow waterers when your chicks hatch.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
First and foremost, there are no refunds, no returns, and no replacements on any hatching egg orders, FOR ANY REASON, whatsoever.
You may have 0% -100% hatch rate from the eggs you receive from me.
In addition to the above, you understand that, in general, shipped eggs may not develop due to factors outside my control. You should candle the eggs upon arrival to inspect the air sac cells. It is recommended that shipped eggs rest for 12 hours to allow shook up air cells a chance to settle and possibly reattach. If air cells become damaged, embryo development is doomed.
You should candle the eggs upon arrival to inspect the air sac cells. It is recommended that shipped eggs rest for 12 hours to allow shook up air cells a chance to settle and possibly reattach.
Please take the time to educate yourself about fertile chicken eggs. Just because the embryo fails to develop, it does not mean the egg was not fertile. Eggs must be kept under the right condition in order to fertilize (It is always a good idea to check your incubator for cold spots periodically).
The only way to check for fertility is to crack one of the eggs to locate the bullseye (the blastocyst).
We are NPIP and follow NPIP guidelines. We file and submit a VS 9-3 form for all of our shipped orders, even if within the State of Florida.
When you purchase eggs through the mail you understand there are risks involved and when you complete your purchase, you have accepted these terms and conditions.
Handling time can be anywhere between 3 - 10 business days. Sometimes, it can take longer, depending on the number of orders between eBay, local, and the farm website. I strive to ship every order as soon as possible, but keep in mind we work with animals. Animals are unpredictable. We work with small flocks. Eggs are shipped fresh. Your oldest egg won't be older than 72 hours prior to shipping.
Your eggs will arrive safely and unbroken; free of any deformities. Only the best eggs are chosen for your incubator. Each egg is carefully inspected for cracks and detached air cells prior to packaging. Every package sent is the best it can possibly be. The eggs I sent to you are packaged with love and care.
If you receive broken eggs , please send me an email or text message with pictures. Pictures are a MUST.
Please understand that I do not return messages about hatch rate. There is nothing I can or will do to remediate the issue. I can't refund you for service that has been rendered. I won’t reship, unless paid for a full set, or authorize a return.
I can't guarantee hatch rate outside my farm for numerous factors: the environment, the machine, the practice, detached air sacs during transit, just to name a few. Just place me on your "no buy again list" and move on.
Please note we cannot predict when our hens want to take a break. Just like us, they have good days and bad days as well. If I cannot fill your order due to broodiness, molt, heat, or any other factor that affects laying, I will contact you and cancel your order, issuing a full refund.
If you can’t accept these terms and conditions please find another breeder.
